HiPOD 30 Jul 2021: Ridges and Crescents
Some of the crescent forms seem to be in strata that are below those that form the ridges in this area of Arabia Terra. However, perhaps they are banked against the ridges or maybe they compose the ridges. The crescentic forms might be a sign of wind-blown (aeolian) sandstone.
Enhanced color is less than 1 km across; black and white is less than 5 km.
