Magic and mystery must be approached with a clean mind and spirit, free of prepackaged thought, unquestioned assumptions, and the non-ideas that “everybody knows.” I’ve observed that 90 percent of magick is trash removal, and that the condition in which mystery can be seen and understood is a new childhood, a deliberate innocence free of prejudice and expectation.
