Anyone who depicts such an authentic scene of the American West - with such dramatically backlit cloudscapes - surely must be born and raised….in France. Pas moyen! Yep…Fontainebleau, to be exact. And yet when you fall in love with a part of the world, you fall in love. That’s how it was for multi-hyphenate creative @markmaggiori when he first laid his eyes on the rugged landscape that he would inevitably make his home. Taos, New Mexico is not merely just the place that he currently hangs his rabbit felt hat. It also serves as an endless source of inspiration for Mark’s romanticized oil paintings where Mother Nature’s awe-inspiring brushstrokes - channeled through the French artist’s hand - illuminate Native American figures in a way that imbues them with life. 🎨ARTWORK DETAILS🎨 Artist: @markmaggiori Title: “Sons of Blue Lake” (Dzelzitis) Dimensions: 28” x 36” Medium: Oil on linen Date: 2021www.markmaggiori.com•••
